Caption: Looking west down the Fitchburg line. In the center Geep #2032, a unit the T leased and later bought, hauls GP40MC #1135 towards BET. The bridge abutments used to support a bridge carrying a spur from the New Hampshire Main Line (Lowell Line) to the Boston & Maine's now-abandoned freight yards. The bridge was only removed about a week before this photo was taken. There was still some (de)construction equipment dismantling the remains of the bridge, which were on the spur's right of way to the left of where the bridge was (hidden behind those trees and extending to the left of the picture.
