  • Caption: 3880 entering Reservoir Carhouse. In various incarnations this facility has been here since the Beacon Street line (as the C line is also known as) was built in 1889. The yard serves as part of an extended loop for the C line, with cars usually going from the outbound track at Cleveland Circle Station through Cleveland Circle itself and the yard and then out Prendergast Avenue and across Beacon Street to the inbound platform at Cleveland Circle Station. The track that crosses underneath 3880 connects with the D line. (June 15, 2007)
