Caption: 3003 curving westwards through the intersection. The tracks form a wye here, allowing trains coming from any direction to go in either of the remaining directions. The purpose of the northwest leg of the wye is a mystery to me; there is no route which uses it, and the only obvious deadhead move (Hiroden-honsha-mae to Hiroshima-eki) it would seem to make more sense to run straight north from Hiroden-honsha-mae. Perhaps its used by maintenance of way equipment.
