Caption: A northbound train arrives at Tufts Mdeical Center. TMC Station has an interesting history. It was built long before the rest of the Southwest Corridor, so it sat unused for years. It's also rumored to have unused Green Line platforms walled off from the south lobby, built for an F Line extension that's never happened. (The abandoned section of the Tremont Street Subway ends only a few feet from the entrance to the south lobby.) (August 25, 2011)
