Caption: I returned to Mt. Washington early enough to catch the 9AM trip. As it happened, I arrived an hour early, so I had plenty of time to photograph everything getting ready for the day. I found the Waumbek in the same place I had seen it last time, simmering by the coaling tower as its crew readied it for a trip up the mountain. (July 3, 2010)
