Caption: M-2 is the Cog's second diesel-hydraulic locomotive, built in its shops in 2009. All the diesels run on biodiesel fuel, and typically burn only 18 gallons on each round trip (vs 1 ton of coal and 1000 gallons of water for the steam locomotives). Apparently the diesels are normally run without the side panels. (May 31, 2010)
