Caption: A view of the west end of the bridge. Like the depot in nearby Hardwick, this is one of the few places left on the old Lamoille Valley RR where the tracks remain in place. Presumably even these will be removed at some point and replaced with a walking bridge. While there's nothing to stop you from walking across the bridge, the gaps between the ties make it very hazardous. FYI, the rails are 100-lb rails rolled by Dominion in 1953. (August 4, 2006)
