  • Caption: Picture Window PCC #3295, the other historic car displayed at Boylston.   Unlike 5734, this car is owned outright by the T, and was restored by its own shop workers.  The Picture Window PCCs, built in Worcester by Pullman Standard in 1951 and the last Boston PCCs built, were notable for their extra-wide windows and standee windows. A number of these cars remained at the Arborway shops for years after service to there was suspended, but they were never maintained and were scrapped in the mid-1990's. (December 27, 2006)
